Not So Common Players Announce Auditions for “Bells Are Ringing”

BELLS ARE RINGING!

Join us for the comedic musical Bells Are Ringing which tells the story of the Susanswerphone answering service. Sue, the owner, starts dating Sandor, but doesn’t realize that he is using her business as a front for illegal activity. Meanwhile, Ella falls in love with one of her phone clients even though she has never met him.

    Callbacks will be by invite only and will be held on Wednesday May 17th at 7pm

(2 Doors down from Joann Fabrics)

Production dates are July 21-23 and July 27-30.  All performances begin at 8pm.

Production will take place at the Clifton Common Stage (outdoors)

● Please prepare 16 to 32 bars of music from a Broadway show – ideally in a style

   similar to the show or from the show itself.

● An accompanist will be provided so please have sheet music in the correct key.  

● Readings from the script will be provided at auditions.

● Please bring appropriate dance clothing/shoes, as everyone will participate in a

    dance call during auditions.

Rehearsals:

● Rehearsals will be held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings, from 

   7:00 pm-10:00 pm, and on Sunday afternoons 2:00 pm-5:00 pm. This is

   subject to change based on cast/crew availability. Rehearsals will alternate 

   between the Storefront and the Senior Center at the Clifton Commons 

   depending on availability.

●  Rehearsals will begin on Wednesday May 17th (Read thru)

●  Attendance is mandatory for:

    -Tech Week (July 16th-20th)

    -All Performances  

    -STRIKE on Sunday July 30th after the final performance as well as Monday

    evening July 31st.
