Open Call for Ensemble Members:
We are seeking new members: multidisciplinary performers, improvisers, deep listeners, activists, and community builders. We especially encourage musicians, Black, Indigenous & People of Color to come to our open call.
What is Liberation Playback Theatre?
Movement, music, metaphor and improvisation are used to re-enact stories from people’s lives. We provide creative, playful spaces for people to deepen their understanding and connection with one another through sharing stories.
Other Details:
Modest stipend provided for performances from a grant we received from Montague Cultural Council through Brick House Community Resource Center. We’ll continue to apply for grants and strive to increase pay for performers over time. Small Stipends for performances guaranteed through May 2024.
