Columbia County Youth Theatre Offers Three Family Shows at the Ghent Playhouse

Columbia County Youth Theatre (CCYT) is thrilled to be performing on the Ghent Playhouse Stage as part of its Summer ’24 Children’s Theatre Festival, featuring an enchanting lineup of six different shows, staged across three distinct venues throughout the County. Set to dazzle and inspire from July 19 through August 10 our productions at the Playhouse include:

1. Could You Hug a Cactus? – This heartwarming show, bursting with song, dance and creativity, will delight young children as it explores themes of kindness and friendship.

2. Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr. – A musical treat for all ages

3. Dracula: A Radio Play – Performed by CCYT staff and college interns. Be transported to a world of suspenseful high drama, riveting sound effects, and a few good laughs.
