Adirondack Theatre Festival Opens 2025 Season with “The Village of Vale”

Starring Gizel Jiménez, Lauren Elder, Kelvin Moon Loh, and more

GLENS FALLS, NY — Adirondack Theatre Festival opens its 2025 season with The Village of Vale, a haunting concert presentation of the original musical thriller that explores the lies we tell to protect ourselves—until the past catches up with those trying to bury it.

Performances run Friday, June 27 through Sunday, June 29 at the Charles R. Wood Theater in downtown Glens Falls.

Leading the cast is Gizel Jiménez (Wicked), whose powerful vocals and emotional presence bring depth to the role of The Traveler/Avi. She appeared in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s acclaimed film adaptation of tick, tick… BOOM! (Netflix) and currently stars in AppleTV+’s Bad Monkey.

She is joined by Lauren Elder (Side ShowHair), returning to the role of Larissa after appearing in The Village of Vale at Lincoln Center. Also starring is Kelvin Moon Loh, seen on Broadway in BeetlejuiceSpongeBob SquarePantsThe King and I, and Side Show, as Nemus.

The Village of Vale features book and lyrics by Jonathan Karpinos and Joseph Varca, music and additional lyrics by John McGrew, direction by Lisa Rothe, and music direction by John Alecci. Produced by special arrangement with Jane Dubin and Vale Creative Productions, Producer.
