Ghent Playhouse in search of 1 male actor for The Thanksgiving Play
ROLE:
JAXTON – (Caucasian Male age 35-55) – An actor and yoga practitioner. Politically correct to a fault… a big one. He’s the confident guy that everyone loves, but his overly logical PC thinking takes weird turns. .
SYNOPSIS:
In this wickedly funny satire, good intentions collide with absurd assumptions, as a
troupe of terminally woke teaching artists scrambles to create a pageant that somehow manages to celebrate both Turkey Day and Native American Heritage Month.
REHEARSALS:
3-4 times per week starting as soon as possible. Flexible with schedule conflicts.
PERFORMANCE DATES:
October 17 through 26, 2025 – Friday and Saturday evening performances at 7:30 p.m.,
and Sunday afternoon matinee performances at 2:00 p.m.
Please note that there is also a required preview performance on Thursday,
evening, October 16 at 7:30 p.m.
