Schenectady Civic Players Launch 98th Season with “The Girl on the Train”

Schenectady Civic Players will launch their 98th season on October 17th with the mystery The Girl on the Train, based on the bestselling novel by Paula Hawkins and DreamWorks film, adapted by Rachel Wagstaff and Duncan Abel. Directed by Jennifer Van Iderstyne, this psychological thriller kicks off an exciting lineup of five productions for the season.

Performance dates are Friday–Sunday (October 17–19) and Wednesday–Sunday (September 22-26). Friday and Saturday curtains are at 8 pm, Wednesday and Thursday curtains are at 7:30 pm, and Sundays are matinees only at 2:30 pm. All tickets are $25. Tickets are available online through the SCP website, by phone, or at the door for any performance. Season Subscriptions are also available now for all 5 shows of the 2025-2026 season for only $80.
