Hold On To Your Butts, the critically acclaimed comedy from New York and the West End, is coming to the Academy of Music!
Two actors and a Foley artist perform a live, shot-for-shot parody of the greatest dinosaur film of all time. A wildly inventive tour-de-force of comedy, physical theatre and live Foley.
Recent Cutbacks is a creative ensemble founded in 2014. Their critically acclaimed work sits at the intersection of comedy and theater. They are best known for their live movie parodies that fuse humor, nostalgia, and lo-fi spectacle. Past projects include Hold On To Your Butts (UK Tour & West End (upcoming)), Fly, You Fools!, KEVIN!!!!!, Next Day Thrones, Master Lecture Series: History of the Third Robot War (Audible Original), and RCB… does a sketch show. Recent Cutbacks’ projects invite audiences to see the world with a newfound exuberance and remind people why they fell in love with movies, theater, and storytelling in the first place.

Ticket Prices: $25.16 Adult, $19.68 Student After Fees
Tickets can be purchased in person or over the phone Tuesday through Friday 3pm to 6pm. Tickets can also be purchased online at any time for no additional cost/fee. All Sales are final. This event is participating in the Card to Culture Program! They will be offering 10 seats at a discounted price of $10 to any patrons with a valid EBT, WIC, or ConnectorCare card. To purchase these tickets, please visit or call the box office Tuesday through Friday between 3:00pm and 6:00pm. Limit 4 tickets per cardholder per show. Tickets are sold on a first-come-first-serve basis.
