Cindy of Arc, a weekend of performances on Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17 at Bridge Street Theatre, 44 West Bridge Street. Catskill, NY.
Cynthia Kaplan and her band bring us an original, rock-band-sing-along-cum-musical you didn’t know you needed. (Okay, you knew.) This resistance rock comedy takes on lying, power, and how that’s worked out for the rest of us—particularly women. Think American Utopia with expletives, politics, religion, dogs, Nazis, cannibals, no David Byrne, no money, no choreographer, and everyone wearing their own shoes.
Cindy of Arc was a finalist for the 2023 Richard Rodgers Award for Musical Theater and has raised more than $11,000 for women’s reproductive rights. We’re beyond excited to share it with you.
