PITTSFIELD, Massachusetts — Barrington Stage Company (BSC), under the leadership of Artistic Director Alan Paul and Managing Director Greg Reiner, is pleased to announce two shows in its “Broadway in the Berkshires” concert series. Grammy- and Tony-nominated Megan Hilty, known for her work on stage and television, will perform with her musical director, Berkshire-native Matt Cusson on July 20. On August 3, three-time Tony Award winner Patti LuPone performs an evening of showstoppers in Songs From A Hat, where she selects her most famous and personal favorite songs from slips of paper in her top hat – unscripted and full of hits. Both concerts will take place at the Boyd-Quinson Theater, at 30 Union Street.

Tony and Grammy Award nominee Megan Hilty, best known for her breakout role as Ivy Lynn in the NBC musical drama Smash, has built a celebrated career spanning Broadway, television, and concert stages around the world. She most recently starred as Madeline Ashton in the hit Broadway musical Death Becomes Her, earning a Tony Award nomination, Grammy Award nomination, Drama League Award nomination and two Broadway.com Audience Awards.
Hilty first rose to prominence on Broadway as Glinda in Wicked, later originating the role of Doralee Rhodes in 9 to 5: The Musical, which earned her multiple award nominations. Her stage work also includes acclaimed performances in Noises Off, as well as Encores! productions of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and Annie Get Your Gun. On screen, Hilty’s television credits include appearances in Annie Live!, The Good Wife, and Desperate Housewives, among many others.
A powerhouse vocalist, Hilty is also celebrated for her concert performances with world-renowned orchestras, including the New York Pops, Boston Pops, and National Symphony Orchestra. She currently tours with her band, led by singer/songwriter/producer and Grammy Award Nominee, Matt Cusson. Cusson, a Pittsfield, Mass.-native and Berklee College of Music alum has been touring for two decades, including extended time on the road and performing with Christina Aguilera, India.Arie, and Javier Colon.

Patti LuPone is a three-time Tony Award winner for her performances as Joanne in Marianne Elliott’s gender-swapped award-winning production of the Stephen Sondheim-George Furth musical Company, Madame Rose in the 2008 Broadway revival of the Jule Styne-Stephen Sondheim-Arthur Laurents classic Gypsy and the title role in the original Broadway production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber-Tim Rice production of Evita.
Ms. LuPone launched her concert career in 1980 at New York City’s legendary nightclub Les Mouches, performing late-night on Saturdays for 27 weeks, while also performing in Evita. Since then, she has continued to tour extensively, captivating audiences across North America, London’s West End, Australia, and Broadway. Her celebrated concert repertoire includes “Don’t Monkey with Broadway,” “Far Away Places,” “A Life in Notes,” and the upcoming 2026 tour of “Matters of the Heart,” marking the 25th anniversary of that beloved show.
