The RPI Players are currently looking for a director for our upcoming fall show, Little Women. The application and all relevant information can be found in the Google forms link below.
Director is a Paid Position to direct Little Women in the Fall 2026 Semester, starting August 27th.
The responsibilites of this position include: assisting in casting the show from an acting perspective at auditions, leading rehearsals (2-3 times a week), and giving creative direction to the technical leads and cast members for the show.
We will be having weekly production meetings, the current prospective meeting time will be at 6pm, right before Work Party in Academy Hall. There will be an online option through Discord if required. Friday evenings are our Work Parties. At Work Parties, members of our club work on the technical aspects of our show. Production meeting times can be subject to change depending on the needs of the production team.
Most communication with members of production will happen over Discord, through the server created specifically for this show. As such, to be considered for the position, you must either already know how to use Discord, or have a willingness to learn the basic uses of the platform.
