On Saturday Sept. 19 and Sunday Sept. 20, the Wendell Meetinghouse hosts the Re/Emergence Collective’s devised workshop performances of We Are the People in the Room, culminating a performer residency that began in Summer 2026.
We Are the People in the Room is a devised workshop performance weaving together material generated from our community workshops, personal experiences, and collective exploration centering themes of connection and isolation, grief and joy, and what it means to be human in this moment in history. The audience is invited to witness and participate in this performance as the collective continues to challenge the role of the audience. A post show discussion and reception will happen after each performance with the opportunity to reflect and be in community together.
