Lake George Dinner Theatre Presents “The 39 Steps”

At the Holiday Inn Resort Lake George, September 18 – October 17, 2026

Lake George, NY –  Lake George Dinner Theatre’s “Season of Nostalgia” continues with two-time Tony and Drama Desk Award-winner, The 39 Steps, adapted by Patrick Barlow from the movie by Alfred Hitchcock and the novel by John Buchan.

A fast-paced comedy thriller, The 39 Steps is a dizzying, hysterical parody packed with non-stop thrills and side-splitting shenanigans. Don’t miss your chance to see Alfred Hitchcock’s classic thriller given the campy, whimsical treatment in this award-winning, riotous comedy. It’s all brought to life by an exuberant cast of four actors playing over 150 zany characters in this dizzying, hysterical parody packed with non-stop thrills and side-splitting shenanigans!

Artist Director, Jarel Davidow, shares: “I am thrilled to bring you this hilarious adaptation that will make you laugh out loud as it takes you on a fast paced trip through a Hitchcock classic. This quick-witted take on the old film pairs perfectly with The Marvelous Wonderettes to create the ideal “Season of Nostalgia.” I am so excited to share this next offering in our 2026 season with our audiences.”
