Saturday, November 14 at 3:00 PM & 7:30 PM: Step into 1851 Paris with David Lane’s puppetry adaption of Émile Zola’s classic at The Adams Theater, 27 Park Street in Adams, MA.
“The Belly of Paris” is a darkly funny, high-spirited production that follows an escaped political exile through the culinary spectacles and stark contrasts of Les Halles, balancing romance, laughs, and ironic deaths by meat pie against biting social commentary on greed and inequality.
Developed right here during two residencies (2025 and 2026), this premiere is made possible with support from The Jim Henson Foundation and the Mass Cultural Council. Best of all, the auditorium will be heated and cozy for this show!
