In a one-night only performance, Benjamin Lerner, the great-grandson of Irving Berlin, will present a powerful concert of his new show PERFORMER.
Vermont musician hits the Berkshires in support of regional recovery centers.
On September 3, Lerner will share the inspiring story of his devastating addiction and hard-won recovery, iniviting the audience on an immersive musical journey that combines elements of hip-hop, classical piano, and melodic standards.
With tremendous support from Berkshire Magazine, Barrington Stage Company is pleased to present this one-night only performance with the Vermont-based rapper, composer, writer, recovery advocate, radio host, and viral content creator — now sober nine years — to benefit the two primary addiction recovery centers in our home city of Pittsfield, Mass., Living in Recovery and George B. Crane Memorial Center.
We are pleased to bring attention the meaningful work of these organizations and are grateful for the commitment of additional community partners who help to shine a light on the importance of recovery, awareness, and the stigma that surrounds it. Join us for music, mocktails, and stage magic next week in downtown Pittsfield.
