Fort Salem Theater is currently interviewing Music Directors, Stage Managers, and Designers (lighting, sound, costumes) for our 2026 season. Below are dates for each production, followed by stipend details for each position.

REHEARSALS for Mainstage productions are typically held Sundays from 6PM-10PM, and Monday-Thursday from 7PM-10PM, pending the availability of the cast and the needs of the show. For The Spongebob Musical, rehearsals will be held weekday afternoons.
STIPENDS for each position are indicated below. All cast and creative team members receive a minimum of two complimentary tickets, plus a free 12-month invitation to opening weekends for all MainStage productions.
- Music Director: $1240-$2000 (based on number of performances, and if Music Director serves as Pianist.)
- Stage Manager: $200
- Lighting Designer: $200-$300 (typically a 1-2 week maximum commitment)
- Sound Designer: $200-$300 (typically a 1-2 week maximum commitment)
- Costume Designer: $200-$300 (excluding costume budget)
