The Sharon Playhouse is hiring for our 2026 summer season, and we would love your help spreading the word.
This season reflects a thoughtful investment in both artistic excellence and the people who make our work possible. With a more intentionally paced production calendar, our teams are able to collaborate deeply, focus on quality, and do fewer things better while maintaining the high standards Sharon is known for.
Each summer, the Playhouse employs more than 100 artists and professionals across artistic, technical, educational, administrative, and front-of-house roles. Our work is recognized consistently for its creative and technical excellence, and we are proud to foster a collaborative, professional environment where every contribution matters.
For those relocating to Northwest Connecticut, housing is provided as a logistical accommodation, along with transportation between staff housing and the Playhouse. Located just 95 miles from New York City, Sharon offers a seasonal lifestyle that blends focused creative work with small-town charm, natural beauty, and a strong sense of artistic community.
