Cat Trials, an original one act based loosely on Robert Darnton’s telling of “The Great Cat Massacre” which takes place in pre-revolutionary Paris.
This is a short adaptation for a one night performance at Mt Ida Preservation Hall
We are looking for actors who are interested in physical theater.
Auditions at Mt IDA:
Friday March 20th 1-4
Sunday March 22nd11-3
All roles are open to actors of any gender
Nicolas: apprentice in a print shop in the heart of Paris, and the ringleader of the mock trial of the cats Leveille: also an apprentice in a print shop in the heart of Paris
Master Printer (of the elite) own the print shop and works his apprentices to the bone
Madame Printer (of the elite) is opposed to the apprentices demands as well and loves her cat La Grise.

No monologues necessary, sides will be handed out onsite
