(August 10, 2023–Chatham, NY) “Jersey Boys,” the most requested show in Mac-Haydn Theatre history, will play the Chatham summer theatre for three weeks, August 17 – September 3.

Winner of both the Tony and Olivier Award for Best Musical, Jersey Boys is a story of rags to riches, celebrating one of the most influential bands in American history. Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons weren’t always a household name. Jersey Boys takes audiences behind the music, celebrating the highs, lows and 40-year friendship of the iconic quartet—presented through spring, summer, fall, and winter—and how the ragtag group from New Jersey rose to international stardom.

Producing Artistic Director John Saunders helms the production in its Mac-Haydn debut, and Ashley DeLane Burger choreographs following her work on last season’s “A Chorus Line” (Associate Choreographer) and “Forever Plaid” (Choreographer, 2022 BroadwayWorld Award). They are joined by Music Director Eric Shorey and Assistant Music Director Alessandra Alcala.

The production will feature scenic design by Alivia Cross, lighting design by Andrew Gmoser, costume design by Claire Mezzetta, sound design by Sean McGinley, hair and makeup design by Emily Allen, and props design by Adriana Ayala.

Making his Mac-Haydn debut, Andrew Maguire is Frankie Valli. Returning to the Mac-Haydn in the Four Seasons are Andrew Burton Kelley (Godspell, Next to Normal) as Bob Gaudio, Conor Fallon (Godspell, The Wedding Singer) as Tommy DeVito, and John Hannigan (Forever Plaid) as Nick Massi.

Rounding out the cast making their Mac-Haydn debuts are Taye Martin as Hal Miller & Others, Kevin Weldon as DeCarlo & Others, and Jacob Atkins as Joe Pesci & Others and the Frankie Valli alternate. Returning cast include Gabe Belyeu as Bob Crewe & Others, Stephanie Prestage as Francine Valli & Others, Rachel Pantazis as Mary Delgado & Others, Bella DePaola as Lorraine & Others, Arthur Beutel as Hank Majewski & Others, and Matthew Harper Stevenson as Norm Waxman & Others. Cydney Gleckner and Anthony Velez are swings for the production.

Audiences will experience a night of sincerely honest storytelling backed by chart-topping, Grammy-nominated songs including “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” “Dawn,” “My Eyes Adored You,” and smash hit “Oh What a Night…”

“Jersey Boys” features a book by Marshall Brickman & Rick Elice, music by Bob Gaudio and lyrics by Bob Crewe.
