Hudson, N.Y.— On Friday, May 8th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Ancram Center for the Arts, in partnership with Spark of Hudson, presents free storytelling workshops with the center’s lead teaching artist Sarah Katan.
Designed for anyone with a story to tell, attendees will explore story ideas through creative exercises to help them shape compelling narratives guided by Katan. Participants will leave with the start of a real, personal story, and a plan to bring it to life. The goal is not to create a polished monologue, but to allow the spontaneity of a real-life story to shine through.
The workshop is on Friday, May 8th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Spark of Hudson, located at 502 Union Street. Registration and more information can be found online.
