Ghazi Kazmi posted an update on the Whitney Center for the Arts since it was closed due vandalism and the pandemic.

“The valdalism was much worse than we thought. Regardless, the good news is that we have just started the rebuilding / renovation process of the Whit and should be completed by the end of May.

In terms of programming, it will be very limited due to COVID. However, we are very excited about having Rites of Passage, a brain child of Pooja Prema, with many of the artists returning in August @ the Whit which will be our flagship event for 2021.”
