COPAKE, NY —The Two Of Us Productions, the award winning theater company based in Columbia County NY, is pleased to present, LIVE and IN-PERSON, The Sound Of Murder, a murder mystery thriller.   This performance is being presented on Saturday evening July 17th, 2021 at 7:30pm in collaboration with The Copake Grange. 

The CKGR Radio Playhouse Of The Air is coming to Copake, broadcasting live from the classic theater at the historic Copake Grange.  It’s the 1940’s, and we are going live from the Grange at radio station WMGR!  If this show doesn’t go well the station will go out of business.  It certainly doesn’t help that the station owner’s daughter is trying to sabotage the show! The radio mystery becomes too real when someone actually kicks the bucket. 

This murder mystery is sure to please, with suspense, love, strange noises, and with a cast of wacky characters including: producer Frederika Farnsworth, dramatic radio actors Gilbert De Bernaise & Vivian Fredricksberg, novice actor Shelly Stalling, the station owner’s daughter Roberta, and Foley artist “Foley” Roberts.  You’ll always remember The Sound Of Murder!

The Two Of Us Productions is well known throughout the Hudson Valley for presenting quality theater, both musicals and dramas.  Their recent productions of Sweeney Todd, Young Frankenstein, Deathtrap, Chicago, Les Miserables, next to normal, Mamma Mia! and Jesus Christ Superstar were all recognized by the Theatre Association of NYS with multiple awards, including outstanding work by the company & outstanding performance by the orchestra.  Reviews of their recent virtual live-staged readings of three Arthur Miller scripts; All My Sons, Broken Glass, and an adaption of An Enemy Of The People will appear in upcoming editions of The Arthur Miller Journal.
