Latham, NY — Curtain Call Theatre is presenting the regional premiere of Fireflies by Donja R. Love, directed by Chris Foster. The bombing of a church in the Jim Crow South leaves four little girls dead, and inspires a pregnant Olivia to write speeches that lead her husband Charles to galvanize a march toward freedom. “A jaw-dropping and explosively dramatic two-hander . . . a powerful tale of love.”

The cast includes Michael Lake & Angelique Powell. Scenic Design by Frank Oliva, Lighting Design by Lily Fossner, and Sound Design by Alex Dietz-Kest. Our Stage Manager is John Quinan.

The play opens on Thursday, January 6, 2022 and runs through January 30, 2022. Performances are Thursdays at 7:30pm, Fridays & Saturdays at 8pm, and Sundays at 3pm. There will be one Saturday matinee performance at 3pm on January 15, 2021.  Individual tickets are $30 each.
