SPT $416 weekly minimum (SPT 4)

SEEKING
Equity actors for roles in WAM Theatre 2022 season (see breakdown).

Local actors encouraged to submit.

Although WAM centers stories of women and considerably more roles are women than men, actors of all genders are encouraged to submit

WAM Theatre’s 2022 Season includes a full production of Tori Sampson’s CADILLAC CREW* (September-October) and readings of four plays over the course of the Spring/Summer including: Amy Berryman’s WALDEN* (May 1), Tanya Barfield’s BRIGHT HALF LIFE (June 5) and Caryl Churchill’s ESCAPED ALONE (July 7).

All will be performed live in various theatres throughout the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts. (* these titles are TBC).

INSTRUCTIONS
Please submit a resume and headshot (as PDF and JPEG attachments) and video audition (a brief introduction and a contemporary monologue). Please label all these files with your full name and indicate your union status and whether you have local housing in the Berkshires in your email. Your email subject line should be: EPA audition. Please let us know in your email if you have prior commitments during any of the dates.

CADILLAC CREW – first rehearsal Tuesday September 6th, first preview September 29, closing October 16. Performances run Thursday- Saturday at 730pm and Sunday at 2pm.

STELLA– early thirties, Cassie’s twin sister – former NASA colony architect.

CASSIE– early thirties, Stella’s twin sister – NASA botanist.

BRYAN– mid thirties, Stella’s fiancée – a member of a populist political movement

Bright Half Life by Tanya Barfield, directed by Gina Kaufman

ERICA– age 25-75, “soft butch” Caucasian woman.

VICKY– age 25-75, more traditionally feminine woman – African American, Latina or Asian.

Escaped Alone by Caryl Churchill, directed by Kristen van Ginhoven

SALLY– age 60 or older, woman.

VI– age 60 or older, woman.

LENA– age 60 or older, woman.

MRS. JARRETT– aged 60 or older, woman.

Cadillac Crew * by Tori Sampson, director TBC – full production, Fall 2022, SPT 4 contract

RACHEL– 26 years, powerhouse, polished, poised, witty black woman. (also ALICIA).

ABBY– 22 years, powerhouse, sharp, unapologetic black woman (also OPAL).

DEE– 35 years, powerhouse, mature, hesitant but confident, sophisticated black woman (also PATRISSE).

SARAH– 38 years, powerhouse, down to earth, firm, protective, secure, optimistic woman (also JOURNALIST).
