Famous mystery writer, Andrew Wyke, loves to play games. But when he finds out his wife plans to leave him for a young travel agent, he plots a game with murderous consequences. Of course, in a mystery, things are never quite as they seem, and games can quickly get out of hand. SLEUTH is the winner of both Tony and Drama Desk awards for Best Play and has been adapted for the silver screen several times over.  This production will be staged in a representation of an English country home onstage at the Sand Lake Center for the Arts. Time period 1970.

AVAILABLE ROLES
Andrew Wyke – Male 50 + Dynamic, animated, carries most of the script and commands the stage with authority. An older man gone slightly to seed. A very successful writer of detective novels and a man who does not like to lose. A man who changes the rules to get what he wants.

Milo Tindle – Male 25 – 35. Milo is the young man in love with Andrew Wyke’s wife. When he gets caught up in a deal that’s too good to be true the game changes everything about him. Actor must be able to create different voices/mannerism to play 3 other characters while in disguise. This is a fantastic actor’s exercise as the actor is required to credibly deliver 4 distinct characters through the play.
