Open Call Auditions for the 

Theatre Institute’s 2022-2023 Season!

When:  Tuesday, September 27th from 6-8pm (by appointment)

Where:  Schacht Fine Arts Center Theater (Troy, NY)

The Theatre Institute at Sage is looking for actors and singers (adult performers age 18 and up and youth performers ages 10-15) for the following productions this season: 

Benjamin Franklinstein the Musical!

Rehearsals start mid-October

Performance Dates:  November 30 – December 11, 2022

Sherlock Holmes & The Case of the Jersey Lily

Directed by Eileen Schuyler

Rehearsals start in January

 Performance Dates:  February 9 – February 19, 2023

Ladies, How Dare You (Suffragette Musical)

Written by Liv Cummins and Rob Hartmann

Directed by Michael Musial

Rehearsals start end of February

Performance Dates:  March 31 – April 2, 2023

Junie B. Jones, The Musical

Book and Lyrics by Marcy Heisler, Music by Zina Goldrich

Directed by Michael Musial

Rehearsals start mid-April 

Performance Dates:  May 17 – 26, 2023

For the auditions, please prepare a monologue and/or a song to be sung either acapella or with a track (a bluetooth speaker will be provided).  

Please Note:  For those who would like to be considered for the Sherlock production, please prepare a monologue that uses heightened language.
