A.P.E. and Serious Play Theatre Ensemble invite you to come see a work-in-progress showing of PLANT, a new two-person musical where the actors play each character at the exact same time. PLANT is being developed as part of the LAB at A.P.E., a 10-month long residency and mentorship program for emerging theater makers.
From the creators of PLANT: It is a dark and twisted tale of a young boy who has lost contact with his mother and is forced to live underground, abandoning the regime of his authoritarian father. While trying to follow his mother’s footsteps into conscious oblivion, he finds solace in his new stepsister. While unraveling the mystery of his parents’ past, the boy must master a forgotten magic to share with the world in order to save it.
