For seven years a certain boy wizard went to a certain Wizard School and conquered evil. This, however, is not his story. This is the story of the Puffs? who just happened to be there too. A tale for anyone who has never been destined to save the world.
This enchanting and comical 2015 play written by New York playwright Matt Cox is for anyone who has ever felt like they weren?t the hero of their own story. “Puffs,” for and about the underdog, follows three friends through their adolescent years in a magic school that proves to be quite dangerous for children. Alongside them are the Puffs, a group of well-meaning, loyal outsiders.
Those with and without a love for a certain boy wizard will enjoy this unapologetic and inventive play that tells a familiar story in a fresh and new way.
The cast of Puffs is comprised of students in the C.A.S.T. – Creative Arts at Steamer Ten theatre arts school program.
The production is directed by (& program led by):
