The Smith College Department of Theatre’s New Play Reading Series presents Orpheus Orchestra Opus Onus by Kate Soper. Professor of Music Composition Kate Soper performs a reading of her work–in–progress which features Orpheus in a post–apocalyptic bunker, burning violins to stay warm, lamenting the memeification of classical music, and dreaming about Eurydice. Directed by Michael Rau.
