Upstage Productions, Inc. of Hudson, NY is calling actors, singers, dancers and performers of all kinds!
Do you have a dream role you’re dying to play?
Are you looking to get back on stage and be a part of a summer musical experience?
This is your opportunity to audition for two upcoming productions (no fee required).
This season’s productions are:
- “Do You Hear the People Sing? A Dream Role Cabaret”
- “The Wedding Singer”
Audition dates:
- Wednesday, April 19th 6:30 – 8:30 PM
- Saturday, April 22nd 12:00 Noon – 2:00 PM
(Callbacks will be on Sunday, April 23rd at 2:30 PM)
Audition location:
- The Reformed Dutch Church of Claverack, 88 NY-9H, Hudson, NY
Performance dates:
- “Do You Hear the People Sing? A Dream Role Cabaret” – June 30th, July 1st, and July 2nd (locations in Columbia County being finalized)
- “The Wedding Singer” – August 18th, 19th, and 20th, performed as a dinner theater presentation at Pegasus Restaurant in Coxsackie, NY
Audition Info:
- You may audition for either, or both, productions. Please note that for the Cabaret – all ages will be considered. For “The Wedding Singer”, only those who are out of High School and older will be cast.
- For “The Wedding Singer” please come prepared with a short selection of a song in a style similar to the show. (Broadway or 80’s pop or rock preferred).
- If auditioning for the Cabaret, or both productions, please prepare the selection that you would like to perform in the cabaret.
- For all auditions, be sure to bring recorded music as your accompaniment; a bluetooth speaker will be available for use.
- All prospective cast members of “The Wedding Singer” will be required to participate in a dance audition. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Bare feet or socks will not be permitted.
