Starlight’s Youth Theatre is excited to present Mamma Mia! the musical May 5th & 6th, 2023. Inspired by the storytelling magic of ABBA’s songs, from “Dancing Queen” and “Take A Chance On Me” to “Super Trouper” and “Thank You For the Music,” Mamma Mia’s enchanting tale of family and friendship unfolds on a Greek Island paradise. Artistic Director, Cyn Strycharz, and Music Director, Deb Salli, lead a group of talented teens in grades 7-12 in this exciting production with performances of two casts at the Academy of Music in Northampton at 7:00 on May 5 and 1:00 and 7:00 on May 6. Tickets are $14 for students, $18 for seniors, and $22 for adults and can be purchased at this link , or you may visit or call the Academy of Music box office at 413-584-9032 ext.105. Box Office Hours are 3pm – 6pm, Tuesday – Friday. Additional service fees apply to all ticket purchases.
Starlight’s programs are supported in part by grants from the Amherst Cultural Council, a local agency, as well as Mass Cultural Council, a state agency. The Mamma Mia! production is participating in the Card to Culture Program, offering 10 seats at a discounted price of $10 to any patrons with a valid EBT, WIC, or ConnectorCare card on the day of show.
