The casting call will take place on
Saturday, June10 from 1:30 to 4:00pm
Sunday, June 11 from 11:00am to 2:00pm
Rosendale Theatre, 408 Main St. in Rosendale, NY.
The Lifespan of a Fact
Production Dates: August 3, 4, 5 (4 performances)
Rehearsals: will begin the week of June 26, 2023.
(Actors will rehearse15-20 hours a week based on everyone’s schedules.)

Synopsis: Jim Fingal is a fresh-out-of-Harvard fact checker for a prominent but sinking New York magazine. John D’Agata is a talented writer with a transcendent essay about the suicide of a teenage boy—an essay that could save the magazine from collapse. When Jim is assigned to fact check D’Agata’s essay, the two come head-to-head in a comedic yet gripping battle over facts versus truth.
Characters being cast:
– Jim Fingal (mid 20s, male)
Fresh out of Harvard fact checker for a prominent NY magazine. Eager to prove himself.
– John D’Agata (late 40-60s, male)
Talented writer who has written a transcendent essay for a prominent NY magazine.
Please bring a headshot/resume if you have one and be prepared to list any conflicts for rehearsals.
