Show Description:
BOCA is a series of short intertwining scenes that follow a group of retirees, who live in the fictional retirement community of the Boca Oasis. Between rounds of golf, bridge and botox, the residents explore friendships, loneliness, longings, wins and losses and discover the key to happiness lies within their very community.

Actor 1 / Male Identifying
· MO- 70’s, Northeast transplant with sunny disposition. Hawaiian shirts, shorts and sandals. Jimmy Buffet type. Married to Iris.
· BRUCE- 70’s, Retired Corporate Lawyer. Sharp Dresser. Avid Golfer. One of the most eligible widowers in Boca.
Actor 2 / Male Identifying
· MARTY- 70’s, Former Brooklyn boy of Romanian descent. Very New York. Yankees fan. A curmudgeon. Unhappily married to Deann.
· ROBBIE- 60’s, Sexy. A podiatrist, who is amiable, easygoing and very much in love with his wife, Susan.
· STAN- 90-105, ancient treasurer of the condo board. His dog is Tippy.
Actor 3 / Female Identifying
· SUSAN- 60’s, Nice Catholic girl. Wellesley alum. Retired kindergarten teacher. Boca’s version of Mister Rogers.
· DEANN- 60’s, Former Fortune 500 CEO. Everything is tight, her body, her face, her personality. Married to Marty.
Actor 4 / Female Identifying
· JANET- 70’s, Sweet, innocent, maybe ditzy. Originally from Queens. On the hunt for husband #4. Stylish. Well-coifed.
· IRIS- 70’s, The sullen wife of the very sunny Mo. After 48 years, she finds his optimism oppressive. She’s no-bullshit!
Actor 5 / Female Identifying
· LOUISE- 60’s, Yoga instructor. Single. Fragile. On edge. In desperate need of spiritual awakening.
· ELAINE- 70’s, Feisty, straight-talking Italian divorcee. Very competent. Former smoker. She has 3 Pomeranians.
