Hello MCP fans,

Our “book club” is growing and we couldn’t be more pleased with the turnout to our May discussion of Brian Friel’s Faith Healer!

Save the date: Our next MCP Asides will be on Monday, July 24 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. We’re going to take advantage of the summer weather and meet in Courtyard A at MASS MoCA (find us at one of the picnic tables).

At our July meeting, we will be discussing Almost, Maine by John Cariani. We will be talking not only about the script itself, but the choices made in Mill City’s 2013 production of the play. Almost, Maine is a series of vignettes that probes the nature of love and how we find ourselves falling in and out of it.

Copies of the play can be purchased online for around $10 at concordtheatricals.com, alibris.com, or thriftbooks.com. Average shipping time is around 9 days.
