Fall’s around the corner and we are thrilled to announce our September programming.

This fall The Foundry continues to support organizations that align with our mission of giving platform to often unheard voices.

The first couple of weeks of September, The Foundry has offered an in kind contribution of space to hold a theater residency in development through a collaboration with Second Street Second Chances in Pittsfield. The nonprofit’s mission is to provide a “central point of access where formerly incarcerated people of Berkshire County connect with the tools, programs, and support to encourage a successful reentry into a more welcoming community with dignity and sustainable opportunities to thrive.” The resulting performance will be held at Berkshire Community College at the end of September. On Friday September 22nd, SONORO will bring jazz, Latin and classical music bound together by an underlying commonality. The show is at 7PM with tickets at $25 in advance.

On Saturday September 23rd at 7:30PM we are delighted to have Norma Dream, the songwriting project of Norma Jean Haynes. Her forthcoming album, Mercy Drops: une catalogue des brûlages, seeks to capture the experience of a summer spent in Corsica with songs in English and French. Tickets are $15 in advance

Then on Sunday the 24th, our fav duo, Charming Disaster, return for an evening of macabre humor, murder ballads from the Americana tradition, and the dramatic flair of the cabaret. 7PM show with a $15 ticket.
