Autopsy is a new play by Cas Keteyian, written for an all-trans and nonbinary cast.
A full-length play about a college student who believes he is dead, exploring
themes of liminal space, transgenderism, and queer desire, Autopsy is a new play by Cas Keteyian, written for an all-trans and nonbinary cast.
Nick is a movie-obsessed college student whose life is falling apart. He’s trying to navigate school, relationships, an identity crisis about what it means to be Jewish, recurring dreams about an asthma attack — also, he might be dead. The story follows him as he tries to find somebody (his rabbi? his new, intense friend, Saint Sebastian? G-d? James Dean?) who can save him.
