COPAKE, NY —The Two Of Us Productions, the award winning theater company based in Columbia County NY, is pleased to present their Virtual Live-Staged Reading for 2024. Our 1st installment is two exciting radio dramas from Suspense Theater: “A Murderous Revision” and “Fugue in C Minor”. This performance is being presented on Saturday evening January 13th, 2024 at 7:00pm in collaboration with Roving Actors’ Repertory Ensemble (RARE) Inc.
In “A Murderous Revision” we meet ambitious Chris Turner, a busy author who resents, really resents, the continual nit-picking editing of his “wonderful” radio drama scripts by his producer Mr. Ken Avery. Chris has reached his boiling point with Ken’s latest changes and is determined to put a stop to his endless meddling, FOR GOOD!
“Fugue in C Minor” introduces to a certain Miss Amanda Peabody, who has come to deal with a family crisis only to find that her sister has picked the “perfect” husband her. Concert pianist Theodore Evans and his two children David & Daphne are recovering from the death of Theodore’s wife. Amanda hopes that she can fill this void for all of them in the eerie “Fugue in C Minor,”

The Two Of Us Productions is well known throughout the Hudson Valley for presenting quality theater, both musicals and dramas. Their recent productions of Sweeney Todd, Cabaret, Young Frankenstein, Deathtrap, Chicago, Les Miserables, next to normal, Mamma Mia! and Jesus Christ Superstar were all recognized by the Theatre Association of NYS with multiple awards, including outstanding work by the company & outstanding performance by the orchestra. Reviews of their recent virtual live-staged readings of three Arthur Miller scripts; All My Sons, Broken Glass, and an adaption of An Enemy Of The People will appear in upcoming editions of The Arthur Miller Journal.
