West Springfield, MA (1/14/24) – West Springfield’s Majestic Theater will stage special concerts to celebrate Valentine’s and St. Patrick’s Day featuring singer Freddie Marion, Bo Fitzgerald & the Yank Celt Band, and Craig Eastman, as well as two appearances from improv comedy team The Majesters, and a special presentation of the one-man show Misgivings in February and March.

First up is The Majesters, who take the stage on February 5 and again on March 11.  Both shows begin at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are available at the door only for $15.

On February 6, the Majestic presents Freddie Marion & Friends: Love…Yesterday, Today & Always at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.  Dan Kane is the musical director and keyboardist for this show, which will include classic love songs that pull on the heartstrings.  

Slated to perform on March 12 at 7:00 p.m. is Bo Fitzgerald & the Yank Celt Band.  Described as the “Irish-American supergroup,” the band will present their unique blend of traditional Irish music.

Comedian Dave Kane’s one-man show Misgivings will bring the laughs on March 18 at 7:00 p.m.  Kane’s character, Father Patrick Aloysius Misgivings, delivers his unique take on blessings, blarney, bingo and growing up Catholic.

Craig Eastman will appear at the Majestic on March 19 at 7:00 p.m.  The world-class violinist, who has performed and recorded with top acts including Elton John, Ray Charles, Sheryl Crow, Willie Nelson and Steve Martin, will be joined by special guests to present his style of amazing fiddle music from Ireland to America and beyond.

The Majestic’s 26th Season of plays is also currently underway, with the Oscar Wilde classic comedy The Importance of Being Earnest onstage now through February 11, followed by The Ladyslipper, a contemporary drama written by the Majestic’s Producing Director Danny Eaton (February 15 – March 24), and finally The Play That Goes Wrong (April 18 – June 2), a comedic farce by Henry Lewis, Henry Shields, and Jonathan Sayer.  Tickets for these plays are also available at the box office and range from $31-37.
