David Andrew Snider, Executive & Artistic Director of Hubbard Hall Center for the Arts & Education in Cambridge, NY, has announced that he has accepted a new job offer and will be departing his current position on January 30, 2024. You will find his letter below:

I hope this finds you well! I’m writing with some sad but exciting news. I’ve accepted a new offer at another arts institution. Unfortunately, that means I’ll be leaving Hubbard Hall on January 30.

While this is a quick change, it was simply an offer I couldn’t refuse for my and my family’s growth.

As the Executive & Artistic Director of Hubbard Hall, I’m so proud of all the work we’ve done together over the past decade, especially our support of students, artists, and community members throughout the global pandemic, as well as all of the programming and progress we’ve made together since 2014.

I’m heartened by the fact that Hubbard Hall is physically and financially in much better shape than when I arrived. I’m thrilled that the past ten years have included so many triumphs with programming, including our seven year streak with the CCS Drama Club, dozens of artist residencies, hundreds of presentations and productions of theater, opera, dance, and music, and thousands of hours of classes provided to our community. I will miss Hubbard Hall and everyone here.

Thank you for your support over the years. I wish you all the best.

Onward,

David

From the Hubbard Hall Board of Directors: “The board would like to thank David for his hard work and many contributions to Hubbard Hall over the last decade and wish him all the best in his new endeavor.”
