We hope you had a chance to see our fantastic winter Cabaret this past weekend! If not, another Mill City Productions event is coming up next month: Please join us for the first MCP Asides of the 2024 season on Thursday, March 14th. We will be meeting in the Adams Free Library this month as we discuss Steven Carl McCasland’s LITTLE WARS.
If you’ve never joined us for Asides, it’s like a book club with plays instead of novels. We read the play ahead of time and then spend 90 minutes at our meeting talking about what we liked, didn’t like, and what it would be like to produce a staged version.
If that’s up your alley, please join us on Thursday, March 14th at the Adams Free Library, 92 Park Street in Adams, MA, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Set in a country home in the French Alps during the Second World War, LITTLE WARS is an imagined dinner party featuring famous writers Agatha Christie, Lillian Hellman, Dorothy Parker, Gertrude Stein, and Alice B. Toklas. As the alcohol flows and global conflict looms, insults are unleashed and tensions among the guests run high. What will happen when these seven exceptional women are united for an evening?
