Sharon Playhouse is hiring Parking Lot Managers for its 2024 Season (June – Sept.)
Salary – $1000 – $2000
The Sharon Playhouse, the historic professional summer stock theater located in the foothills of the beautiful Berkshire Mountains, is seeking to fill the roles of Parking Lot Managers for its 2024 summer season. The Sharon Playhouse offers you the opportunity to work alongside professional artists from NYC and the Tri-State area. Our upcoming MainStage season includes Rock of Ages, The Prom, Steel Magnolias, and You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and our YouthStage season includes Mary Poppins Jr., As You Like It, Sharon Playhouse Stars, Willy Wonka Kids, High School Musical Jr., and Sassy Cinderella.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Arrive 90 minutes prior to the start of all assigned performances
- Set-up the parking lot in preparation for arriving patrons
- Assign parking lot attendants to specific stations along with associated duties
- Warmly welcome patrons in vehicles to the theater’s parking lot
- Direct patrons to an assigned parking spot in the lot
- Help direct patrons to The Olsen or The Bok theater and the Playhouse’s amenities (e.g., entrance, box office, patio bar, etc.)
- Close down the parking lot set up once the performance begins
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Theatre Administrator and/or House Manager
Requirements: Part-time temporary position.
- Be proactive with the ability to work independently.
- Be well organized and able to successfully multitask.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess a friendly, engaged, and warm customer service style.
- Evening and weekend availability required.
Dates of employment are from May 23 – September 29, 2024. Compensation: $1000 – $2000.
