The Hudson River Shakespeare Company will hold auditions for its fall production of The Weir by Conor McPherson,on Wednesday, August 21, at 7 pm at the United Methodist Church, 227 Main Street, Hudson Falls. No previous experience or prepared material is necessary however it is important to be on time. Parts are available for four men and one woman. Flexible casting is possible.
The play begins as local men at a pub in rural Ireland try to impress a young woman from Dublin with their stories of the supernatural. The tables turn when she shares a tale of her own.
Rehearsals for this production will take place 6 pm to 9 pm, Monday through Thursday, September 9 – October 3. There will be four performances: two evening performances on October 4 and 5 at 8:00 PM and two matinees on October 5 and 6 at 2:00 PM at The Strand Theatre, Hudson Falls.
