The first annual Capital Region wide one-act festival for the Capital Region Festival of Theater (CRFT) on June 15th at UAlbany is now taking submissions! This is a wonderful opportunity to share your companies’ work with an audience from across the Region, and work alongside several other wonderful theaters in the area.
One-Acts can be up to 30 minutes long, and may be either original plays or previously produced works (you will be responsible for securing rights to any published work).
The one-act festival will run from 10am – 6pm on Sunday, June 15th in the 400-seat Campus Center West Auditorium. Companies performing will be allotted a time slot for their one-act, with a 10 minute allowance for set up and a 5 minute allowance for strike. Technical elements should be minimal as companies will not have an opportunity to be in the space prior to the performance.

* Company Presenting the One-Act
* Contact for the company
* Name of the One-Act Play
* Whether the play is an original or previously-produced work
* Running time of the play (30 minutes max)
* Any preferences for performance time slot
Submissions must be in by March 1, 2025.
