*ABOUT THE SHOW*
The fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm are turned on their heads in this fast-paced, rollicking ride! Through a medley of both familiar and lesser-known plots, two narrators and several actors attempt to combine all 209 stories ranging from classics like Snow White, Cinderella, and Hansel and Gretel to more bizarre, obscure stories like The Devil’s Grandmother and The Girl Without Hands. A wild, free-form comedy with lots of audience participation and madcap fun!
*This production is produced by special arrangement with Playscripts, Inc.*
A cast of local theatre students present a plethora of beloved classic tales woven together, joining the Steamer theatre community onstage from as far as Averill Park and as close as Pine Hills!
The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon is written by playwright Don Zolidis, a semi-local who splits his between Texas and Upstate New York. Zolidis has been one of the most-produced playwrights in American schools and his more than 125 published plays have been performed over 30,000 times, appearing in every state, every Canadian province, and 67 different countries.

school teacher at the Hudson Ridge School as well as resident sound designer at Russell Sage College and audio engineer at the Dorset Theatre Festival, having also worked with Shakespeare & Company and the Adirondack Theatre Festival.
