Join the Capital Region Festival of Theatre and Create awareness, Raise Funds, Fill theatres because it’s Time to act!
We need Performers, Volunteers, Donors, Audience!
Everyone wants to get involved and represent our amazing community to help build an extraordinary party celebrating and promoting the 100+ theatres in the Capital Region! We have 15 youth groups, 22 high schools competing for the Jimmy Awards, 8 colleges (5 with theatre majors), 47 community theatres and 16 professional theatres.
CRFT will be a 4 day, region-wide, 7 venue theatrepalooza with dozens of FREE events for kids of all ages at The Cue, Sand Lake Center for the Arts, Theatre Institute at Sage, Fort Salem Theatre, Schenectady Light Opera Company, Capital Repertory Theatre and culminating with 20 events at UAlbany’s Campus Center West!
Volunteer and pick up specific assignments to help us build the Festival. It could be flyering, selling T-shirts or memberships, staffing our venues, planning our next fundraiser or merely telling your friends how great Capital Region Theatre is and why they should support us. Tell us how you would like to volunteer.
