ADAMS, MA—Join the Adams Theater this year for authentic stories, singalongs, laughter, opera, burlesque, the blues, and more performing arts residencies! Starting May 15, the theater is proud to present another eclectic season that brings people together on stage and in our audience for shows that ask questions and seek universal truths.
Come sing your heart out at The Big Gay Speakeasy Concert, be bathed in blues and Americana with local heroes the Coleman-Mongue Project, celebrate Pride with the third edition of the Majesty of the Berkshires, stomp your feet to Scottish tunes with early music ensemble RUCKUS, explore new dance theater works through two residencies with international choreographers, and let a cast of puppets introduce you to our first Puppetry Theater Series in the fall. As always, we are drafting talent from the world while celebrating local favorites.
Our world feels fragmented, but our experiences and existence are connected. The arts have always brought our communities together—human connection, expression, and truth are timeless. This season, we invite you to gather with us and embrace our common humanity, and to find new connections in the shared space of The Adams Theater.
