Opportunity Description:
CPSRT Skill Demonstration (SimFest) Audition/On-boarding date: June 20, 2025, 8:45am – 4:00pm.
Youth Research Inc. (YRI) is seeking actors for PAID in-person training simulations in 2025. Simulations will include role-playing specific to required in-person NYS Child Welfare case worker training provided by YRI.
- All roles are open to adults of all ethnicities, ages, and gender identities, particularly those between the ages of 18-30 years old.
- Roles include two mothers, one grandparent, and one nine-year-old boy who will be played by an adult actor.
- If cast, rate of pay is $75 per half day
- CPSRT Skills Demonstration – 1.5 days paid at $225
- Compensation is a flat rate – no travel or meals will be reimbursed.
- Actors are paid as independent contractors and are not YRI employees.
- Actors may participate in up to two deliveries per week for a total of up to three days per week.
- All trainings will be held at the Human Services Training Center (HSTC) located at 164 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, NY 12144
