THEATER VOICES takes a trip into the bottom of a collapsed mineshaft, where a trapped worker finds salvation in the arrival of a scrappy first responder. “Northside Hollow,” co-written by Jonathan Fielding and Brenda Withers, is quite unlike anything the company has done before. 

Four staged reading performances of “Northside Hollow,” directed by Michael Kennedy, will be offered over the weekend of April 4-6, 2025. As always, admission is FREE, with donations graciously accepted.  

PERFORMANCES: “Northside Hollow” will be presented on stage at Steamer No. 10 Theatre, 500 Western Ave., Albany on:

  • Friday, April 4, 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 5, 2:30 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 6, 2:30 p.m.

CAST & CREW: This production of ”Northside Hollow,” co-written by Jonathan Fielding and Brenda Withers, is directed by Michael Kennedy, founder and artistic director of Creative Action Unlimited. The cast features Evan Jones, Kristoph DiMaria and KD McTeigue.

THE STORY: Trapped underground after a deadly collapse, a miner finds his salvation in the arrival of a scrappy first responder. “Northside Hollow” is a darkly funny meditation on mortality, memory and redemption.
