Rehearsals: Tues-Sundays (times will vary – 2-3 hours per day) All rehearsals are at Capital Rep.
Performances: 8 shows/week, Tues-Thurs 7:30PM; Fri/Sat 8PM, Sat. 3PM, Sun 2PM, Weds 2PM
Pay: $150/wk during rehearsal/$50 per performance during show run
Description: Over the course of one fateful week, an unexpected friendship evolves into an inspirational music collaboration — and perhaps even love. From the very first note, ONCE draws you in and never lets go. This emotionally captivating musical is the only show to have music that won an Academy Award, a Grammy Award, an Olivier Award and a Tony Award. Featuring all of the magical songs from the critically acclaimed film, including the Oscar-winning “Falling Slowly,” this beautiful, poignant show strikes an unforgettable chord in audiences and speaks to the power of music to connect us all.
NOTE: We are seeking 2 young actors to alternate in the role of Ivanka, the Girl’s daughter. (Rehearsal and performance schedule to be determined after casting)
Seeking:
- Female, 8-11 years old
Ivanka, an expressive child with a sweet disposition. Actor needs to appear to be 5-6 years old (we would prefer young actors to be between 8-11). Requires strong stage presence and ability to follow direction. Must be no taller than 4’8” tall. Open to all ethnicities.

Audition requirements:
Bring headshot (or photo) and resume that includes all performance and school/church experience in acting and singing.
Prepare a song to sing a cappella and a short poem from memory
