Lake George Dinner Theatre is seeking one Non-Equity male actor for their summer production of the musical “Guys on Ice”:
ROLE:
ERNIE (age range 35-50; Baritone range A2-E4). Ernie is a moocher. The kind of guy who always says the wrong thing, maybe on purpose, maybe not. Ability to play any type of hand-held instrument that can sound goofy or sentimental a plus (harmonica, ukulele, trombone, accordion, etc).
DATES:
First Rehearsal: June 23rd
Tech rehearsal: July 5th
Opening Night: July 11th
Closing Night: Aug 30th
Exact rehearsal schedule to be determined, but we generally rehearse six days/wk during the day (usually 10:00-6:00 Actor playing Ernie would not need to be at every rehearsal). All rehearsals in Glens Falls and all rehearsals will be governed by Actors Equity rules and regulations. LGDT performs 7 shows/wk (with the possibility of adding an eighth on some weeks).
The performance schedule is as follows:
Tuesday matinee
Wed matinee and evening (2 show day)
Thur matinee and evening (2 show day)
Fri evening
Sat evening
All matinees begin at 1:00 and all evening shows begin at 7:30.
SALARY:
$620/wk for rehearsal weeks (based on a 40 hr week)
$400/wk for performance weeks (based on a 25 hr week)
