Lauren Letelier will perform THE VILLAGE CIDIOT at The Mount, on the historic Edith Wharton estate in Lenox MA, June 6 at 5:00pm.

In THE VILLAGE CIDIOT, a dyed-in-the-wool Manhattanite loses her big corporate job and moves, reluctantly, to a tiny upstate town where her city skills are no match for rural reality. It’s a hilarious and personal journey about navigating life’s disruptions with humor, compassion, and tick repellant.

This performance is a benefit for LitNet, a Berkshire-area non-profit providing free English instruction to those wishing to improve their language skills, as well as to any adult seeking help with basic education and high school equivalency or U.S. citizenship test prep.
